Josh Arzt, KE 1368, Class of 2001
Josh is currenty living in Shepherdstown, WV with his wife Sarah (AU class of 2003) with his 3 children: Quinn (12), Alex (10), and Brianna (8). He currently serves as Senior Software Engineer and Technical Team Lead of Leidos on a project for the Department of Transportation out of Northern VA. He also owns an LLC that specializes in software development and web site maintenance: which also runs a popular tech blog Technical Babble found here at http://xcalibursystems.com/blog/ 9/16/15 Geoffrey Hartman, KE 1004, Class of 1979 Geoff moved to the St. Petersburg, FL area in 2012 for a contract position. Planning to stay in Florida, although it may be another 20 years before I can retire and longer until I can afford. 5 kids and 5 grandkids. Love outdoors. Lot of sailing and beaches. Talking about getting back into camping and outdoor adventures now that we are raising children again. Recommendation: Always have kids in your life and you will never grow old. 12/8/14 Dale Edwards, KE 419, Class of 1954 I and my wife Alice Karen, are snow birds, spending the winter in Florida an the summers in my old home town of Sag Harbor, NY, at a home we had built in 1998 at 4447 Noyac Road. I have three children and eleven grand children and Karen has two boys and one grandchild 12/7/14 Larry Leff, KE 964, Class of 1977 In Spring of 2015 Larry will be celebrating 40 years of ownership of The Sand Trap Miniature Golf Course, Ship Bottom, New Jersey. He would love to see any brothers that may be visiting Long Beach Island. 12/10/14 James Sutherland, KE 1283, Class of 1990 Alive and well and still living in Batavia, NY. I have two teenagers. A son Jack age 15 and a daughter Maggie age 13. They both do well in school. They obviously take after their mother. Drop me a line. If you are ever in Batavia, stop in. Allan Hitchcock, KE 345, Class of 1951 My wife, Patricia and I just moved from Lakeway, TX to the Hills, TX (a gated community completely surrounded by Lakeway and only 3 1/4 miles from our former address. Our new abode is a condo. Yes, we have down-sized. 3/26/15 Jamie Herbert, KE 970, Class of 1978 Jamie has been working for ExxonMobil since graduating from Georgia Tech in Geophysics in 1980. He has spend the last 9 years living in Far East Russia, Australia, and Papua New Guinea. I'd love to hear from some of you guys whom I haven't spoken with in a while. Personally, I have a son in college (Keuka - Kind of near Alfred-Wine Country) and a daughter in 9th grade. I'm still working hard at the art side of things. I've had 4 installations of my work in various churches and have been selling several originals and prints. By the way, anyone in the children's book industry???? I've been working at getting published.- I've been writing and illustrating but haven't been able to get my foot in the door as of yet. Anyway, would love to hear from some of the brothers. Take care and God Bless. 7/7/07 Seth Greenspan, KE 1337, Class of 1996 Married with 3 children Wife Tara, Son Avery (13), Daughter Sagan (2.5), Daughter Danika (8 months) 4/15/07 William Pierce, KE 488, Class of 1958 Married to Barbara Bezdek, We have 4 daughters and 10 grandchildren. Have been in private practice for 34 years. After medical school at Temple University School of Medicine I interned at Reading Hospital in Reading Pennsylvania. Entered the Navy and went through the School of Aviation Medicine. Was home based in California and subsequently spent many months on aircraft carriers in the South China Sea. After being in the Navy for 6 years and 8 months I spent 4 years in the ear, nose and throat residency at Gesinger Medical Center in Pennsylvania and have been in practice in Batavia, NY ever since. I have held several national ENT society positions and am on the associated staff faculty in the ENT dept. at Strong Memorial Hospital. 4/15/07 Geoff Hartman, KE 1004, Class of 1979 Geoff is currently living in Houston, Texas, after many years in Atlanta and 2 years in Palm Beach, Florida. He married his wife Jackie on October 7th, 2004. Ashley (23) is working on her masters in Atlanta, Kristen (18) is getting ready to start college courses (TBD) and Matthew (13) is moving up from 6th grade to 7th next fall. They live in Seabrook, near Galveston Bay, and the home of the third largest boating region in the country. Geoff has a Hobie 18 that is ready for summer sailing. Geoff is working for ICF International, providing marketing support for the ENERGY STAR Homes Program in Houston. He also does consulting, training and related work for energy management and efficiency as an independent contractor. Contact Geoff at [email protected] 3/29/2007 Oren Kuhn, KE 1352, Class of 1998 Oren has been living in MA for the past few years. He has been teaching Special Ed for the last year. He is starting a new job in the fall of 2006 working for the Easter Seals as an Assistive Technology Specialist. He will be going to peoples homes and teaching them to use Assistive Technology to help make their lives more independent. Oren is also engaged. CONGRATULATIONS!! 8/6/06 John Pepin, KE 953, Class of 1977 John is currently living in Raleigh, NC and has been for the last 12 years. Working at DuPont Electronics he is married 26+ years to the lovely Karen (Gruschow) Pepin (class of '77) and daughters Katie and Lisa. Katie will be attending UNC Chapel Hill unfortunately! Lisa is undecided. Work with many other Alfred Grads, although no Lambda Chi's. Have visited Alfred several times in the last 20 years, looks much better, although I mss the old house. Was a member of the last class to pledge the old house, and the first to live in the new one. Mitch Feldman, KE 1064, Class of 1982 Hey guys, I hope you are all enjoying this website. As creator, designer and webmaster I am trying to keep it up to date and keep adding new things such as composites and old pictures. Check back often to see new items. Currently stationed in Hawaii but probably facing a move (more than likely to DC) in the Summer of '08. Thanks to the Brothers who put this website together. What a way to re-live some great memories! If any of you find your way out to Hawaii, please give a shout. 4/15/07 Irwin Kotcher, KE 950, Class of 1977 Living in North Woodmere, NY. Married 24 years to Merri. 2 boys, Brett (21) is a Junior at The University of Tampa and is captain of the Roller Hockey Team. Jeffrey (18) is currently a high school senior and will also be attending The University of Tampa next year. Jeffrey made the USA Junior Olympic Roller Hockey Team, which took a bronze medal this past summer. Irwin has a promotional products company along with his wife called Merri Moments. He is the proud father of a 5 year old son, Lucas. 3/29/2007 Steve Coleman, KE 1105, Class of 1983 Well, Hello Everybody...I am just back from nearly a year in Afghanistan. I spent much of the time in the North, in Mazar E Sharif. And then the balance in the Central Highlands, in Bamian. Bamian is where the famous Bhuddas are... or at least what is left of them since the Taliban blew them apart. What an awesome country.. great people, at least the ones that were not aligned with the Taliban and Al Qaeda!! It was simple biblical in scale!! It is great to be back, though!! Thanksgiving was great---hoping for a great Christmas Holiday!!! All the best to you and yours!!
